Andy Panes

Andy is the General Manager at The National Institute of First Aid Trainers. He was involved in the last round of updates to the first aid units of competency and chaired the First Aid Industry Reference Committee with Skills IQ.

He has a wealth of knowledge in training facilitation, assessment, RTO compliance, training package development and all things first aid! In addition to owning and operating his own RTO for the past 15 years, Andy consults with training providers and educational institutions across Australia.

Andy has been in the first aid space most of his life. He has worked in both the public and private health sectors in the UK and Australia, including voluntary work in Event Health Services as the State Operations Officer (Major Events) for St John Ambulance, QLD. Andy is also the owner and Director of Paradise First Aid and The First Aid Shop.
